YDR Classic League Rules
Rules Created July 2, 2026
Last Updated July 2, 2026
Commissioner:
This leaderboard does not qualify for any YDR Tournaments unless otherwise specified by the league organizer.
This league ranks players by a modified Elo system, which determines your skill relative to other players based on contribution (contr.) and the outcome of each game. More information will be available soon.
Golden Rule
Any mod or texture pack that modifies your client or the game in ways that make it unfair for players running Vanilla Minecraft is NOT ALLOWED. This includes ‘hacked/utility’ clients, texture packs that remove pumpkin overlay or make string or suspicious sand easier to see, x-ray mods or texture packs, any movement, ESP or vision mod that is not possible to replicate in Vanilla Minecraft.
Allowed Mods
- Sodium
- Lithium
- Mod Menu
- Sodium Extra
- Zoomify
- Just Zoom
- Iris (shaders are allowed, but not recommended)
- Any dependencies of the above mods as long as they adhere to the Golden Rule
Allowed Modification Categories

Bugs, Hacks, Etc.
Vanilla features or bugs that are allowed on the Minecraft Java Any% RSG leaderboard are allowed (including pie-chart and F3 functions, but not including duplication glitches, etc that are only allowed in the ‘Glitched’ category)
- External tools for finding strongholds (eg. Calculators like NinjaBrain Bot) are not allowed
- Spawn-Immunity abuse (re-logging repeatedly) is not allowed
- Auto-clickers are not allowed
- Freecam mods are not allowed
- Combat-logging is not allowed
- Modification of screen overlays (pumpkin, lava, water, etc.) is not allowed
- Texture packs that provide an unreasonable advantage are not allowed (e.g. making suspicious gravel/sand easier to distinguish)
Maps (The JOSBOISEPH Rule)
An exception is made to the Golden Rule for map mods. You may use a minimap or world map for viewing surface terrain, adding waypoints and utilizing automatic death waypoints.
IMPORTANT! Map mods may NOT BE USED for entity radar or viewing caves/underground terrain or nether terrian.
If you choose to use a map, you must use the Fair Play version of Xaero’s MiniMap.
Time Limits
In order to protect the sleep and health of all lockout players, the following rules will be established regarding time limits.
- All leaderboard games will last no longer than 120 minutes (2 hours) and at that point, the team with the most goals wins. If the game is tied, it ends in a draw.
- On school nights during the school year, all games will stop at 11:30pm. All other nights, the cutoff time is 1:00am. If a team is in the lead by more than three points and the game has lasted longer than 45 minutes, the leading team automatically wins. If the goal deficit is less than or equal to three, the game will be suspended to be resumed at the next earliest convenience of all players.
- If both teams agree to a draw before the two hour time limit, the game will end in a draw
- If one team fully agrees to resign, the game will end in a loss for that team
- If all the members of one team have been disconnected from the server for three minutes, their team automatically resigns (with some exceptions for extenuating circumstances like internet failure)
- If all active players agree to waive the time cutoff rule unanimously, the game may continue.
Rule Enforcement
If a player is found to be breaking any of these mod rules during a leaderboard game, they will receive a one week ban from this and any more competitive league. Any goals the cheater got during the game will count as “failed goals” and impact their Goal% stat. On the second offense, the cheater will receive up to a one month ban and be removed from the leaderboards. On the third offense, they will be permanently banned from this and any higher league with pardon to be given as decided by the league organizer.
If there is a mod you wish to use and you are not sure if it is allowed, ask first before using it.
